Hey everyone,

I'm planning an offroad weekend tour to the area around Legnica/Lubin. Are there any suggestions for a nice track or 'points one must see'? We're a group of 5 people riding 690 and heavier bikes, and of course an Africa Twin

Hey,

theres lot of military areas around legnica. Some old abandoned russian buildings. Abandoned german/russian hospital in Legnica.

But for more interesting... loooooots of gravel and sand

Beware of forest police. They can give you some fine to pay... 500pln or even more.

Do not enter working military areas near Świetoszów/Żagań

For sand - lower pressure in tires

Maybe you want to visit Bieszczady? I could show you the best places and forrest road.
I have a friend - owner little houses where You could sleep and eat for small pricess in Sanok.

Thanx, that sounds interesting, but I guess it'll take more than a weekend to explore this area

I'll keep that in mind for the coming season.

I suggest to go south of A4. Around Legnica, Lubin is flat. 25 km south is more hills and interesting places. You can sleep in Grodziec castle, 15 km from A4 autobahn. Then continue on offroad tracks towards Świerzawa and Jelenia Góra.
