To powinno wystarczyć na dowód, że informacja o zakazie wjazdu do Iranu dużym motocyklem, to bajka.
Cytuję wpis pewnego Szwajcara na eFBe:
We are currently in Iran and entered on 6th of August 2018 with two BMW F650 gs dakar and one BMW f800 gs without any bigger issues (entering process took about 4.5 hours coming from Turkey at the boarder to bazargan).
Documents you need is the "carnet De passage" foryour bike which is kind of insurance that you will move the bike out of Iran and other countries and bring it back home. You will have to apply for it usually at your countries automobile club (adac in Germany or TCS in switzerland, don't know for france) and pay a deposit which you will get back when your home.
Don't forget to aplly for a visa at least 2-3 weeks before because it takes it's time to get it.
In addition you will have to buy an insurance at the boarder to Iran for the bike which costs 135 euro for full insurance. Other ppl told us it wouldn't be necessary but there was no way to skip it and believe me, when you drive here you know why you need it
Also make sure to have enough euro or dollars with you and change it at the black market as you will get double exchange rates. Getting money at atm is not possible in Iran as the country is not linked to international bank market. Only in Tehran there might be some ate stores that will have a visa machine and give you money for some additional charges, but no one can tell where exactly they are... so ensure to have 135 euro for each bike (and 30 euro each for custom service at the boarder). Inofficial exchange is about 100000 rial (10000 toman) equals 1 euro.
People here are great and you should visit Bojnurd and find Mohsen Qomi 's repair shop on Google maps. He's a great guy and was very helpful and already met and hosted a lot of travelers especially bike travelers. He speaks English and that's a big plus here.
Hope you'll manage to enter as it's a crazy but very amazing country
Best regards
Patrik from Switzerland (using Mohsen account to give you the tips)
