"I met this German guy in Austria with the most well worn Africa Twin i have ever seen. He told me that he bought the bike originally used from a Berlin Courier and has then been around the world 3 seperate times, the first for 3 years, the second for 7 years and the third for 4 years.
When i asked the mileage i was told 567,000 KM,s !!!!!!!!
He said that apart from changing the carbs and consumables no real problems, and when the bike rode up the road it sounded sweet !!!! "
